We were delighted to have Lorraine Ward join us as our Volunteer Coordinator in 2018. Since then she has worked tirelessly arranging volunteer's time with our clients within our community and care facilities. 

Having worked at Creston Hospital for nearly 30 years as well as having worked in a Medical Clinic, Swan Valley Lodge and Pioneer Village, she has made lasting contacts which Hospice has greatly benefited from. 

Lorraine graduated from Galt School of Nursing in Lethbridge Alberta as a registered nurse. She worked in Hinton and Lethbridge before moving to Creston in 1979. 

She raised her family here and is fortunate to be able to spend a great deal of time with her grandchildren who are growing up in our wonderful valley. 

Lorraine loves gardening, reading and cooking. She is thrilled to be able to draw on her nursing skills and continue helping the elderly.
